Actually, at the petrol pump, codes are kept for the amount in which more petrol is sold. These are in round figures, like Rs 100, 200, 500 and 1000. There is a one button system for its entry, which the petrol pump employees press, which saves their effort and the work gets done quickly. However, it appears to the customer that there is some setting through numbers, due to which less oil is being supplied.
