New Delhi. A big update related to Sikhs for Justice founder and Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannu has come out. In one case, India had asked America for details of bank accounts and mobile numbers of terrorist Pannu. Washington declined to share the information. There is an agreement between India and America to cooperate against terrorism, yet the demand of the Indian investigative agency was rejected. Now the question arises that what is America’s intention behind this? Is he standing with terrorism and defending it? The reason for not sharing the details of Pannu’s bank accounts and mobile number has now come to light.
According to media reports, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) while investigating a serious case, asked the US for details of bank accounts and mobile phone numbers of Khalistani terrorist Pannu. According to the report, America rejected India’s request and refused to share the information related to it. US officials refused to share bank account details and mobile phone numbers citing their domestic legal provisions. American officials said that for the crime for which information was sought by the NIA, there is a provision of only 1 year in jail in America. In such a situation, such information cannot be made available for the related crime.

For which case did NIA ask for details?
NIA had sought details related to Pannu from America in a case more than four years old. In fact, on the eve of Independence Day on 14 August 2020, two people broke the security cordon and entered the District Administrative Complex (DCP Office Building) of Moga. They hoisted the Khalistan flag on the rooftop and insulted the tricolor. The then Moga SSP Harmanbir Singh Gill had said that photographs of both the people were captured in CCTV cameras. In this case, a case was registered against absconding Pannu under serious sections. NIA is investigating this matter.

In this matter, NIA had registered a case on 5 September 2020 under sections 121, 124 (A), 153A, 153B of IPC and Insult to National Honor Act. This case was registered twice.
