Allu Arjun was arrested by the police on December 13, nine days after the stampede at Sandhya Theater in Hyderabad. The court had sent him to judicial custody for 14 days. However, just a few hours later, Allu Arjun was released on interim bail by the Telangana High Court. The court said, ‘Just because he is an actor… he cannot be detained in this manner.’
