Chhatarpur News: Villagers have complained against the Sarpanch in Atrar village of Chhatarpur district, accusing him of untouchability and boycott. However, other people of the village told it something else. Now the matter has taken a new turn.

Chhatarpur. A strange case has come to light in Atrar village of the district. In fact, 20 people have accused the village sarpanch of boycotting the village over untouchability. Last Tuesday, seven villagers including a woman had also given a complaint application in the SP office.

To find out the truth of this matter, Local 18 team reaches Atrar village of Chhatarpur. Where people come to know that the Sarpanch of the village is in the Panchayat building. When we reach there, we come to know that Sarpanch Santosh Tiwari has reached Chhatarpur along with Tehsildar.

‘Two groups in the village’
Rambihari Rajak, sitting in the Panchayat Bhawan, tells that there are two groups in the village. It is just a factional fight. There is no untouchability and casteism in the village. I am also Rajak, people enter the temple, offer prasad, people of all castes eat. Now it is our choice as to whom to eat the prasad and to whom to distribute it. Whereas Kishori tribals say that Prasad of all castes is offered in the temple and people of all castes eat it.

Sitting in the Panchayat Bhavan, Ashok tells that the world talks about offering Ahirwar Prasad but he himself does not believe in God. Then where did its offerings come from? As far as Prasad is concerned, Manoj Mishra had offered Prasad in Hanuman temple. This world was with him only.

‘There is no discrimination’
After this we reach the dense settlement of the village. Where Munna Lal Ahirwar tells that we also come from Ahirwar community but in this village there was never any discrimination on the basis of untouchability and caste. We also offer Prasad in the temple and also go to the temple. People of all castes eat our prasad. This issue of Prasad has been made up. Prasad was offered by Manoj Mishra in Hanuman temple. Jagat Ahirwar was only with him. They belong to the same group. No one has been boycotted nor is there untouchability or casteism here. I also come from this community, we also offer Prasad, people of all castes eat our Prasad.

After this, when we reach Jagat Ahirwar’s house, we do not find him at his house. On calling, it is revealed that he has gone to Chhatarpur to collect fertiliser. They will be late. However, they try to talk even late in the evening but do not receive the phone.
