New Delhi. A fire broke out on the 11th floor of the 13-storey Sky Pan Building in Oberoi Complex, Andheri, Mumbai. This is the same building in which famous singer Udit Narayan lives. The fire broke out in B-wing, while Udit Narayan lives in A-wing. He is very scared after this incident. However, there was no harm to Udit Narayan or any member of his family in this accident.
According to officials, the fire was extinguished after almost four hours at 1:49 am on Tuesday. Udit Narayan is very scared after this incident. Singer said that the fire department tried its best to extinguish the fire.

He said, ‘The fire broke out around 9 pm. I live on the 11th floor of A-wing and the fire broke out in B-wing. We all came down and stayed in the building premises for three to four hours. It was very dangerous, anything could happen. Thanks to God and our well-wishers, we are safe.

One person died, one injured in the incident
In this incident, a 75 year old Rahul Mishra died while 38 year old Raunak Mishra was injured in this incident, who was immediately admitted to Kokilaben Hospital. It is being told that Raunak was having trouble breathing after the incident. He was discharged after initial treatment.

Giving information about the incident, an official said that the fire was limited to electrical wires, electrical appliances and household items in the flat. In the initial investigation, the fire brigade suspects the fire to be due to short-circuit, but the exact cause is being investigated.
Fire broke out in a duplex flat
Sources said that five people were living in the duplex flat where the fire broke out. Three people, including the domestic help, got out safely. Fire brigade sources claimed that the fire fighting system of the building was not working and the condition of the internal stairs of the duplex flat made the task of extinguishing the fire ‘a bit difficult’.
