Although Amitabh Bachchan loves both his children very much, but it is said that a father has more affection than his daughter, so the same affection is seen between Amitabh Bachchan and his daughter Shweta Bachchan. In the year 1997, Big B had handed over the hand of his beloved to Ritu Nanda, daughter of Hindi film showman Raj Kapoor and Nikhil Nanda, son of Rajan Nanda. Many guests participated in this royal wedding of Bollywood. Amitabh also left no stone unturned in making his daughter’s wedding special. A singer had performed in this wedding, whose voice impressed Big B so much that he took out a 500 rupee note and handed it over to the singer.

In the show, famous singers Gurdas Maan and Shankar Mahadevan are going to win the hearts of people on stage with their unique talent. In this episode, Gurdas Maan and Amitabh will talk about Shweta Bachchan’s marriage.
Big B will be seen remembering the soulful performance of Gurdas Maan at his daughter Shweta Bachchan’s wedding, which he still treasures. Shankar Mahadevan will also share his relationship with the Bachchan family when he talks about performing at Abhishek Bachchan’s wedding.
Expressing his attraction towards Punjabi songs, Amitabh Bachchan said, ‘I was talking to my daughter Shweta because all the children in our family listen to Punjabi folk songs. These are very popular in our house. I asked him how these songs become so popular and where the singers come from. So many new singers are emerging who sing very beautifully. He told me something that I want to confirm with you, ‘is it true or not. He said that at a very young age children go to Gurudwara, listen to Bani and learn from it. From there he gets music education. Is it true?’
Gurdas Maan replied, ‘Yes, absolutely correct, sir.’ He further said, today I am getting a lot of love and respect. I remember, I was in Delhi for Shweta’s wedding and our group performed there. Referring to Amitabh Bachchan, he further said that ‘Shahenshah’ was standing in front of us. After my performance he gave me a note of Rs 500 as a blessing. Even today I keep that note with me like a treasure.
