Rozaddin has also received the National Award from the former President.

70 year old Mohd. Rojaddin basically does welding work. He has a shop in Madhuban Cantonment Chowk, Motihari. Talking to Local 18, Rojaddin says that we do welding work like making banner frames, welding of vehicles etc. There is no problem in working even at this age. After 15 years of efforts, he went to Delhi in 2009 for making a coffee machine from a cooker, where he received the National Award from the then President Pratibha Devi Singh Patil. The award included Rs 35,000 and a citation etc.

What is Jugaad coffee machine?
According to Rojaddin, when he used to go to weddings, he used to see that there is a coffee making machine which runs on electricity. Seeing this, we tried it, and the experiment done in the cooker was successful. After this people started placing orders and since then we have been making coffee machines from cookers. By making a hole in the lid of the cooker, a pipe is attached from inside it and a tap is installed which is operated with the help of a screwdriver.

Jugaad reduced the budget of traders
This jugaad of Rojaddin greatly reduced the investment budget of businessmen. Some person wants to set up a coffee stall and if he buys a machine, the expense will be very high. The total cost of making a Jugaad coffee machine will be Rs 2500 to Rs 3000. Rs 800 will be spent on labor and Rs 1500 will be spent on the cooker. He says that when there is a season, good income is earned. More than 50 orders come. This time the demand is less. Therefore, prepare it only after receiving the order, do not prepare it in advance.
