On the occasion of completion of 30 years of the release of Rajinikanth-Nagma’s film, 60th anniversary (Golden Jubilee) of Satya Movies and completion of 50 years of superstar Rajinikanth on screen, the makers have decided to re-release the film. The film will be seen on the big screen in a new version with Dolby Atmos surround sound and stunning 4K resolution.
‘Baasha’, released in 1995, was directed by Suresh Krishna and produced by RM Veerappan under the banner of Satya Movies. This film, released 30 years ago in 1995, is known as the biggest blockbuster of superstar Rajinikanth’s film career. The film ran successfully in theaters across India for 15 months.
