Jabalpur: Film actress and former Miss World Tourism Ishika Taneja is now saying goodbye to the glamor of the film world and is going to move towards spirituality for the work of human service and Sanatan Dharma. Ishika took Gurudiksha from Shankaracharya Swami Sadanand Saraswati Maharaj of Dwarka Sharda Peeth in Jabalpur. After taking Gurudiksha, the actress said that till now she was running for name and fame in the film industry or other works. But I earned a lot of name and fame but did not get peace of mind and satisfaction. Therefore now we have to work for Sanatan Dharma and human service.

In search of light in her life, Bollywood actress and former Miss World Tourism Ishika Taneja reached Jabalpur from Delhi, where she took Guru Diksha from Shankaracharya Swami Sadanand Saraswati of Dwarka Sharda Peeth. However, before giving initiation and making her his disciple, Shankaracharya Swami Sadanand Saraswati satiated the curiosities of former Miss World Tourism Ishika Taneja by doing scriptures and then made her his disciple by giving her Guru Mantra.

Took the path of religion for peace of mind
Ishika Taneja, who came to take initiation wearing saffron clothes, while explaining the reason for taking initiation from Shankaracharya, said, ‘I did a lot for myself. Won many awards, made many records, but that journey was completely different. Because there was name and fame but there was no peace and self-satisfaction, hence I have decided to leave that journey and go on the journey of spirituality. Because the happiness you get in this journey is by serving Sanatan Dharma and people. It cannot be compared with any other happiness.

Ishika Taneja has won the title of Miss World Tourism India in the year 2017. In 2018, Taneja was also crowned Business Woman of the World at Miss World Tourism held in Melaka, Malaysia. President’s Award has also been awarded for 100 Women Achievers of India. Ishika Taneja has worked in films like Indu Sarkar, Had and Dil Mangadi.

Never found peace in the film world
While turning towards spirituality from the world of film lime light, Ishika Taneja said that she never found happiness and peace in the film world. That’s why I left the film world completely. The way films are being made these days. After coming on OTT, I never felt peace. That’s why I was looking for a different path by roaming around in different religious places. Now that path is of spirituality, of religion, now after taking Guru Diksha, only this work has to be done, which will benefit Sanatan Dharma and human service.
