Mumbai. Today is the birth anniversary of Rajesh Khanna. On this occasion, Shaba Pataudi, sister of Saif Ali Khan and daughter of veteran actress Sharmila Tagore, shared many unseen pictures and remembered late Rajesh Khanna. Along with this, he also shared unseen pictures of Sharmila Tagore who celebrated on 8th December. Saba wrote an emotional message while sharing old pictures of Rajesh Khanna on her Instagram. In the caption, Saba wrote, “Happy birthday to Rajesh ji. A movie name for the first picture which I’m trying to remember, and thanks for the second one.”
Shaba Pataudi further wrote, “This pair (Rajesh Khanna and Sharmila Tagore) was the favorite of the fans. Although Shashi (Shashi Kapoor) uncle was one of my favourites, they all have had some great times together, working in great roles with great directors and scripts. Twinkle Khanna, happy birthday to you too!”
Shaba Pataudi wrote, “Chinki Mashi (Romila Sen), happy birthday to you too! Momma’s sister…we love you! He celebrated Amma’s birthday with us a few days ago!” Rajesh Khanna and Sharmila Tagore played lead roles in the 1969 film ‘Aradhana’. This film proved to be a superhit at the box office.
Along with Saba Pataudi’s note, there were also pictures of Rajesh and Sharmila’s blockbuster films. The post also contained glimpses of the veteran actress’s 80th birthday celebration. Sharmila celebrated her 80th birthday on 8 December. Her family members including Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Soha Ali Khan, Kunal Khemu and Sara Ali Khan celebrated with pomp.
Interestingly, Twinkle Khanna’s birthday is celebrated with her father, late actor Rajesh Khanna. On this special occasion, Akshay Kumar has shared a video in meme style on his wife’s birthday on Instagram.
