‘Article 15’ is a crime-drama film released in 2019, directed by Anubhav Sinha. In this, Ayushmann Khurrana has played the role of IPS officer Ayaan Ranjan. The film is inspired by ‘Article 15’ of the Indian Constitution, which talks about preventing discrimination on the basis of religion, caste, gender etc. The story revolves around the murder of two Dalit girls and the disappearance of the third in a village. The film raises issues like casteism, corruption and injustice happening in the society.
