That tremendous scene of ‘Sholay’, on which the Censor Board had used scissors, that deleted scene surfaced after 49 years

New Delhi. Amitabh Bachchan, Dharmendra and Hema Malini’s all-time blockbuster film ‘Sholay’ shook the box office. You must have heard many stories about this film till now, like Dharmendra had used a real gun in a scene. But do you know that many scenes of this film were deleted. One of these scenes has now come to light after years.

The 1975 all-time blockbuster film Sholay is counted among the evergreen films of Hindi cinema. People like to watch this film even today. The pairing of Dharmendra and Amitabh Bachchan was much liked in the film. People liked the story of the film so much that they went crazy. Before the release of the film, the Censor Board had made several cuts in it. One of the cut scenes is going viral these days.

In fact, every dialogue of Sholay is an example in itself. But there is a dialogue in the film, if a child cries from fifty miles away, the mother says to go to sleep otherwise Gabbar will come. This dialogue was liked very much. Due to the fear of the character of Gabbar i.e. Amjad Khan in the film, many dialogues and scenes were cut. Those scenes were not shown in the film. The censor board had cut them. Now one such scene is going viral, in which the ruthless form of Gabbar Singh is clearly visible.

Deleted scene revealed
A photo of the film Sholay has been shared on the Instagram handle named Old is Gold. This photo is becoming quite viral. Amjad Khan is seen standing in the photo. And Sachin Pilgaonkar is seen lying on the ground nearby. Sachin played the role of Ahmed in the film. In the photo, Gabbar is pulling Sachin up by his hair. A convoy of bandits is visible all around. This scene was cut from the film.

According to the Instagram handle on which this photo has been shared, the censor board had cut this scene from Sholay, released in 1975. Because in this scene there was excessive violence and Gabbar looked cruel. This scene was cut in view of violence. Even today Sholay is one of the favorite films of the people.
