New Delhi: ‘Stree 2’ emerged as one of the favorite films of the Indian audience. The horror comedy had finally hinted that big Bollywood stars will be seen in its third part. We are talking about Akshay Kumar, whose cameo in ‘Stree 2’ made a lot of headlines. Interestingly, Akshay Kumar was seen in films like ‘Khel Khel Mein’ and ‘Sarfira’ in the year 2024, but his cameo in the blockbuster ‘Stree 2’ attracted the most attention. Fans are now curious about his character in ‘Stree 3’.
Maddock Films announced its next film ‘Stree 3’ and said that it will be released on August 13. At the trailer launch of ‘Sky Force’, Akshay quipped that this film is a symbol of his ‘Dedh’ collaboration with Dinesh Vijan. When the superstar was asked if he would be a part of the horror-comedy, he confirmed his role in ‘Stree 3’ and told ‘News18’, ‘What can I say? Dinesh and Jyoti (producer) will have to decide this. They are going to invest the money and Amar Kaushik has to direct.

Dinesh reacted to this and confirmed the news and said, ‘Of course, he is a part of the horror comedy universe! He is our Thanos. In ‘Stree 2’, Akshay Kumar’s character was shown as the leader of a hospital for mentally ill people. Although his name was not revealed, he was introduced as the last surviving descendant of Sarkata, who holds the key to taming the ghost. ‘Stree 2’ was released in theaters on August 15 last year. Directed by Amar Kaushik, this film dominated the domestic box office for about 1.5 months and earned more than Rs 600 crore in India. Rajkumar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor were in important roles in the film.
