Chennai: Savukku Shankar was arrested by cybercrime wing of Chennai police in a fresh case on Friday on charges of spreading misinformation about the state govt’s conservancy workers welfare scheme through a YouTube channel. He is already in judicial custody since Tuesday.
A Theni police team arrested Shankar on Tuesday and lodged him in central prison, Madurai, in connection with a narcotic drugs case.
