Meanwhile, Rajinikanth has left for Thailand to shoot ‘Coolie’. Famous director Lokesh Kanagaraj is making this movie. Rajinikanth has recently given a big update about his upcoming movie, which fans will be happy to hear.
On Tuesday morning, Rajinikanth was spotted at Chennai airport to leave for Thailand. During this, while talking to the media, he gave an update regarding the shooting of ‘Coolie’. Rajinikanth told that 70 percent shooting of the film has been completed. The next schedule of the film will start from January 13, which will continue till January 28. Meanwhile, Rajinikanth refused to answer questions related to politics.
Star cast of ‘Coolie’ movie
Rajinikanth’s ‘Coolie’ is an action thriller film. Big actors like Telugu star Nagarjuna, Kannada star Upendra, Sobin Shahir and Satyaraj will be seen in it. Bollywood star Aamir Khan will also be seen doing a cameo in this film. However, the makers have not yet confirmed this news. Rajinikanth’s film also stars Shruti Haasan, Reba Monica John and Junior MGR in lead roles.
Will be seen with Satyaraj after 38 years
This film has aroused people’s interest for many reasons. One of them is that in this film, Sathyaraj and Rajinikanth will be seen working together after almost 38 years. Both were last seen together in the superhit Tamil film ‘Mr Bharat’. This film was released in 1986. In this film, Sathyaraj played the role of Rajinikanth’s father. Interestingly, Sathyaraj had rejected offers to act in some of Rajinikanth’s previous films like ‘Enthiran’ and ‘Sivaji’.

‘Coolie’ will hit theaters in 2025
Let us tell you that the music of ‘Coolie’ produced by Sun Pictures has been composed by Anirudh Ravichander. The story of the film revolves around gold smuggling. Interestingly, director Lokesh Kanagaraj has revealed that ‘Coolie’ will be a standalone film and is not a part of his Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU). This film will hit the theaters this year.
