New Delhi: Actor Allu Arjun reached Chikkadpally police station in Hyderabad on Sunday, January 5 in connection with the Sandhya theater stampede case. Nampally Criminal Court had granted him conditional regular bail in the Sandhya theater stampede case two days ago. The actor spent about 10 minutes at the police station and completed the formalities.
Nampally Criminal Court had granted regular bail to the actor on Friday, January 3. Nampally Court had directed Allu Arjun to deposit two bail amounts of Rs 50 thousand each. The court had also directed him to cooperate in the investigation, not to influence witnesses and to appear at Chikkadpally police station every Sunday. Earlier, Telangana High Court had granted him interim bail of four weeks.
Allu Arjun gets some relief in stampede case
Nampally Court had heard the regular bail plea of Allu Arjun on 27th December. But, the police had sought time to file counter arguments on the bail plea, after which the court adjourned the hearing till December 30. On December 30, the court heard the arguments of the petitioner and the counter arguments filed by the police and then reserved its decision, which was pronounced on Friday, January 3.

Allu Arjun was arrested on December 13 in a case registered in connection with the stampede that took place during the premiere show of ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ at Sandhya Theater on December 4, in which a woman was killed. The actor was produced in Nampally Court, from where he was sent to judicial custody for 14 days. After this, the superstar’s lawyers appealed to the High Court, from where he got interim bail on the same day.
