Jaipur. Different film festivals are organized every year in Rajasthan on the lines of Bollywood and Hollywood, which include Children Film Festival, Khama-Ghani Film Festival, Rajasthan Film Festival and Jaipur Film Festival which is also known as JIFF. Similarly, the 17th Jaipur International Film Festival will be organized in Jaipur from 17-21 January, in which special films of Jaipur International Film Festival will be shown on 5 screens.
271 films nominated in film festival
This time 21 films from Rajasthan have been nominated in this festival, apart from this the festival includes 9 short fiction, 7 feature fiction, 2 mobile short films, 2 musical albums and 1 animation film, all these films include horror, comedy, drama, You will get to see a unique glimpse of social issues, thriller and science-fiction. Let us tell you that out of 2408 films received from 88 countries, a total of 271 films have been nominated in this film festival, out of which 156 Indian and 115 foreign films in 57 languages from only 71 countries have been included.
More than 100 feature films are included in the festival.
Jaipur International Film Festival has the highest number of feature fiction films this time, the nominated films include more than 100 feature films, which will have their first world premiere and Indian premiere at JIFF, along with 75 feature fiction films, 22 documentaries at the festival. These films include Dipankar Prakash’s family drama, ‘Shanti Niketan’, romantic action, ‘Bharkhama’, social drama ‘Mhari Bindani’, Amit Kumar’s horror, ‘Jungle Ghost’, Manoj Phogat’s women empowerment ‘Sapna Ek Udaan’, Sudeep Pratihar’s social commentary, ‘Kaash’ and Hemant Seervi’s motivational drama, ‘Choomantar’ Apart from these films, short fiction films like ‘Anar Dana’, ‘Fatta’, Pepsi Wala Hero, ‘Karma Ka Phal’, ‘The First Break’, ‘Ehsaas’, ‘Plan-Et’ will be included in the festival. There will be screening of many films like ‘The Last Riot’, ‘Farz’ which were liked a lot by the people.
