New Delhi. Bollywood actress Bhagyashree started her career in the year 1989 with ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’. After the success of the film, she became a star overnight. ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’ was Salman Khan’s first film as a lead role. Recently, Bhagyashree told that during the shooting of the song ‘Dil Deewana’, she felt that Salman Khan was flirting with her. Well, immediately he realized that it was nothing like that.
In an interview given to YouTube channel Kovid Gupta Films, Bhagyashree told that one day Salman came to her and started singing a song sitting next to her. He told, ‘Salman came and sat next to me and started singing. He was always a very gentleman on the set and very nice to me, so I could not understand. It seemed like crossing the limits of flirting and I thought why is he doing this?
Bhagyashree told a funny story
Bhagyashree further said, ‘He used to follow me around and sing songs. I wondered what was happening? Finally, he took me aside and said, ‘I know whom you love.’ However, as soon as Bhagyashree asked Salman what he knew, the actor took the name of her boyfriend Himalaya. He said, ‘I know about the Himalayas. Why don’t you invite them here? I started thinking, Oh God! How can this be possible.’
Married against family
Bhagyashree and Himalaya were dating each other during the shooting of ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’ and got married in 1990 soon after the release of the film. Talking about this, Bhagyashree told that when the family refused to attend her wedding, Salman and director Sooraj Barjatya supported her.
Salman Khan supported
He said, ‘From that moment I developed a special relationship with Salman, because he was like my friend, who knew everything and he knew all my secrets. So when we got married, Salman and Sooraj ji were by my side, because my family did not attend my wedding.
