Besides, caterpillars were also found in the crops. But now due to rain, the farmer brother’s face has brightened.
Farmer Gayadeen Ahirwar tells Local 18 that this rain water is beneficial for poor farmers like us. This water is beneficial for all crops. This water will be beneficial for all crops like wheat, gram, lentils and peas. There is no damage to any crop.
Farmers rely on God
Farmers say that our crops depend on God and now if it rains, the farmers’ crops will be saved. If there is water then the farmers’ crops will flourish. Here 90 percent of the farmers do not have water facility, they buy water from wherever they get it. Because here we do farming only with faith in God.
Money saved on pipes and water
Farmers say that we do not have water facility. They buy it with the money and apply water to their fields. Buys bigha water for Rs 600. Water has to be applied. Now that it has rained, our money has been saved. Caterpillars had also infested the crops. But now the caterpillar has also died due to rain. In the month of Poosh, when farmers are short of money, they take loans and buy water and pesticides for irrigation.
