Emergency New Trailer: New trailer of Emergency released, Indira Gandhi described as the most controversial leader

Mumbai. The trailer of Kangana Ranaut’s much awaited film ‘Emergency’ has finally been released. In the trailer, former Prime Minister of the country Indira Gandhi has been described as the most controversial leader. Kangana shared the new trailer of the film some time ago. The new trailer shows the violence and political turmoil that occurred during the Emergency in 1975. Also, Indira Gandhi’s announcement, “Indira is India” is also shown. In the trailer, the entire focus is on the political drama of that time.

The new trailer of ‘Emergency’ shows the fierce opposition of Jayaprakash Narayan (Anupam Kher) to the speech-giving talent of young Atal Bihari Vajpayee (Shreyas Talpade). Apart from these, glimpses of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw (Milind Soman), Pupul Jayakar (Mahima Chaudhary) and Jagjivan Ram (late Satish Kaushik) are also seen in this trailer.

Kangana Ranaut expressed happiness

While releasing the trailer of ‘Emergency’, Kangana Ranaut while talking about the film said, “After a long journey full of challenges, I am happy that our film ‘Emergency’ will finally hit the big screen on January 17. This story is not just about a controversial leader; It is based on topics that are extremely relevant even today, which makes this journey both difficult and important.”

Kangana Ranaut further said, “This film, which is releasing just a week before Republic Day, reflects the greatness of our Constitution.” Let us tell you, after the film was opposed, the scenes related to Jarnail Singh Bhindranwa and Khalistan have been removed. CBFC has approved it for release within three months. Earlier this film was scheduled to release on 6 September. Kangana is in the role of Indira Gandhi in this film. Kangana herself has directed the film.
