Donald Trump Warns India: Will impose a lot of taxes… Why did Donald Trump warn India along with China?

New Delhi: Ever since Donald Trump became the new President of America, he has been in the news for his decision. Especially with his decision to impose taxes, he reminds me of the Englishman from Aamir Khan’s film Lagaan. In which there is English dialogue… I will impose double tax. Recently in a program he gave a warning to India itself. Trump has said in the tone of warning to India that if India imposes tax on us then we will also impose the same tax on India.

Trump said on Monday that “reciprocal. If they tax us, we tax them equally. They tax us. We tax them. And they tax us. “In almost all cases, they are taxing us, and we are not taxing them.” He made this comment while answering a question on a possible trade agreement with China. Trump said that India and Brazil are among the countries that impose high tariffs on some American products.

Why did Trump warn India?
“The word reciprocity is important because if someone charges us – India, we don’t need to talk about ourselves – if India charges us 100 percent, then we will be able to do that,” Trump said at a press conference at Mar-a-Lago. Don’t we charge them anything for this? You know, they send a bicycle and we send them a bicycle. They charge us Rs 100 and Rs 200. India charges very high fees. Brazil charges very high fees. If they want to charge us, that’s fine, but we will charge them the same.”

Responding to a question, Howard Lutnick, his favorite for Commerce Secretary, said that “reciprocity” is something that is going to be an important theme for the Trump administration. “You should expect to be treated the same way you treat us,” he said.
