Diljit Dosanjh performed Guwahati concert in the name of Manmohan Singh, heard the poetry of former PM, received applause

New Delhi. Diljit Dosanjh’s India tour Dil-Luminati has reached its final stage. Singer performed a concert in Guwahati on 29 December. Punjabi singer and Bollywood actor Diljit dedicated his concert to former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. Remembering the late former Prime Minister, he recited his poetry in his concert.

He shared a video on Instagram, in which he is seen paying tribute to the former Prime Minister. He described Manmohan Singh as a dignified person and recited a poem by him. Diljit Dosanjh says, ‘Today’s concert is dedicated to former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. He lived a very simple life his whole life. He never answered to anyone nor spoke ill about anyone, it was very difficult for a person like him to survive in a political career.

After this, he recited a poetry which Manmohan Singh had once said, ‘My silence is better than thousands of answers, it covers the shame of so many questions’. He said that this is something that the youth of today should learn. Diljit Dosanjh further says, ‘No matter how bad someone speaks to us or tries to mislead us, your goal should be clear. You should remain focused on your work because the person who is speaking ill of you is also a form of God, and this is just testing you as to how you react to his words.
