There was a cut on the cheek with a razor.
According to the New York Post report, a 48-year-old man named Nick Silverthan bought a razor from the supermarket. When he used it after going home, it caused a cut on one of his cheeks. Not only this, as he used it on the other cheek, there was a cut on that side too and bleeding started. The person did not leave the matter here, he checked the razor and found that its blade was hanging slightly, due to which this accident happened. What happened next, Silverthan filed a case against the razor company and demanded compensation.
The person agreed only after taking compensation
Nick, a resident of London, said that the wound was deep and bleeding continued for 20 minutes. Nick says that he has been shaving for 30 years and has never had such a cut, so it was clear that the problem was with the razor itself. Nick contacted Express Solicitors regarding that razor. He contacted Wilkinson Sword, the world’s number one razor manufacturing company. When the razor was tested, after about a month, Nick was given $6,250 i.e. about Rs 5.5 lakh as compensation. No one would have imagined that someone could get a compensation of Rs 5.5 lakh for a cut caused by a razor.
