New Delhi: Raghav Tiwari has worked in many Bollywood films, web series and shows like Crime Patrol. News is coming that actor Raghav Tiwari was attacked with a sharp weapon on Saturday, January 4 in Versova, Mumbai. Raghav has been injured in this attack. A case has been registered against accused Mohammad Zaid Parvez Shaikh under sections 118 (1) and 352 of IPC at Versova Police Station. However, no arrest has been made in this case so far.
Actor Raghav Tiwari told that he was returning home after shopping with his friend at the time of the incident. While crossing the road he collided with a bike. Raghav told that it was his mistake, so he immediately apologized and started moving forward, but the accused bike rider started abusing. When Raghav asked the reason for this, the accused got down from the bike and attacked him twice with a knife in anger. Raghav somehow managed to save himself. After this the accused kicked him, due to which he fell.
Friends took me to the hospital
Raghav told that the accused took out a liquor bottle and an iron rod from the trunk of the bike. For protection, Raghav picked up the wood lying on the road and hit the accused’s hand, due to which the bottle fell down. After this, the accused attacked Raghav twice on his head with an iron rod, due to which he suffered serious injuries. Raghav’s friends immediately took him to the hospital, where he was treated. After treatment, he lodged a complaint at the police station.
Actor raised questions on police action
Expressing displeasure over the police action, Raghav said that the accused is still evading arrest and is roaming freely. He also told that the accused is visible below his building. Raghav expressed concern that if anything happens to him or his family, the responsibility will be on the police.
