New Delhi. Bollywood actress Sujata Mehta gained a lot of popularity with Nana Patekar’s film ‘Pratighat’ released in 1987. After this he worked in films like ‘Yateem’ (1988) and ‘Kanwarlal’ (1988). She has shared the screen with Sunny Deol, Mithun Chakraborty, Rajinikanth, Jeetendra and many big stars in her career. Recently Sujata Mehta told her experience of meeting Aamir Khan and Shahrukh Khan.
During an interview with Hindi Rush, Sujata told that Aamir Khan was giving water to people during the show of his play ‘Chitkar’ in the theatre. She said, ‘When I was doing shows in the theatre, Aamir Khan was taking training. He has worked backstage and also provided water to people. He has taken training since the beginning. Starting from zero, he has traveled all the way to the top. But, even after so many years, he did not forget his roots.

Sujata explained further. ‘Once when I went to Prithvi Theatre, he (Aamir Khan) got up from his seat and gave me the same respect as he gives to Dharmendra. He is a family man. I came to know that he had watched my play Chitkar many times while working backstage. Apart from this, Sujata Mehta also narrated the story of meeting Shahrukh Khan.

He said, ‘I once met Shahrukh Khan in Film City. He looks very ordinary. For once I did not believe that he was Shahrukh Khan. I was also shooting there and he recognized me and spoke very politely.
Shahrukh Khan is very hardworking
Recalling her second meeting with King Khan, Sujata Mehta said, ‘Once I also met him in Mehboob Studio. He was shooting. He is a very down to earth and hardworking person. It is known that Sujata has also worked in many Gujarati films and television shows. She has also been a part of the popular show ‘Saraswatichandra’.
