CHENNAI: Two men were arrested on Monday for sexually harassing a 32-year-old woman food delivery agent in Kolathur. Police, who identified the arrested as Manukrishna, 28, a software engineer and Vishnu, 26, a photographer, said Manukrishna had placed a 4am order for biryani on Sunday and passed lewd comments at the delivery agent when she called him up to confirm the location.
The woman, worried about her safety, took her husband along, said police. Her husband waited outside the building as she went to deliver the order. There, Manukrishna and Vishnu sexually harassed her, said police. She immediately informed her husband about the incident and the couple approached the Rajamangalam police who arrested the two men and seized the mobile phone they had used to place the order. Both men were remanded in judicial custody after being produced before a magistrate’s court.tnn
