He recently gave his stand on the decades-old allegation that he imitates megastar Amitabh Bachchan. Mukesh talked about the impact of this alleged comment. He said that this sensation has remained for so many years.
Mukesh Khanna, while talking to YouTube channel Hindi Rush, recalled the moment when he heard Amitabh Bachchan’s alleged comment for the first time. Mukesh told that one of his acquaintances had heard Amitabh commenting on Mukesh’s acting in an advertisement. Mukesh said, “I had worked in an advertisement. It was an advertisement in which I wore perfume and girls started looking at me.”

Mukesh Khanna further said, “A person told me that he was present there when this advertisement was being shown in the theatre. He was a friend of Amitabh. And Amit ji has a special style. If I were in his place, I would probably say the same thing. He told me that Amit ji saw the advertisement and said, ‘Saala copies karta hai’.”
Mukesh Khanna called the claims baseless
Mukesh Khanna further said, “You can call me self-respecting or stubborn, but I told that man, ‘Are you crazy, he would say like this?’ But those lines remained in my mind.” Mukesh also expressed his views on the fact that his statement came into discussion in the media. Some people even said that this ruined Mukesh’s career. Mukesh rejected these claims and called them baseless.
Mukesh Khanna gave an absurd statement
Mukesh Khanna said, “We never worked together, but to say that Amitabh Bachchan ended my career is an absurd statement by anyone.” Mukesh told that a journalist had also tried to provoke him regarding Amitabh’s alleged comment. But he replied to her, “I said to her, ‘Are you crazy?’ I have no bad feelings towards Amitabh. I have met 10 times in the last several years. We met once in a flight to London. Both of them greeted each other.”
