Like every day, one day he went fishing. But instead of the fish, he got something which is worth crores.
Yes, a fisherman in Florida caught something different while fishing. Actually, instead of fish, the fisherman caught something else in the net. There was more than 55 pounds of cocaine in the net, whose value is said to be more than 17 lakh dollars i.e. about Rs 14 crore. A fisherman spotted 25 kilos of cocaine floating in the Atlantic Ocean near Brevard County.
There were scorpion marks on the drugs. The fisherman understood that what he had got in his hands were drugs and their market value was in crores. He immediately handed him over to the police. After this, the police praised the fisherman for his noble deed. Police say that this cocaine may have ‘accidentally’ fallen into the sea from someone’s boat. He has talked about giving reward to the fisherman.
Police said they thanked the fisherman and said he did the right thing and contacted his agency after finding the drugs. The drugs had a scorpion logo on them and were packed in a waterproof packet. After the discovery of this cocaine, the police have intensified the search for its owner. This incident has been shared on social media.
