NEW DELHI: A 25-year-old man involved in a rape case in Badli was arrested by Delhi Crime Branch team after a 1,500 km chase in Gujarat. The accused had been absconding since the case was registered, Delhi police said on Thursday.
The authorities had initiated proclamation proceedings against the suspect. Following an extensive chase covering 1500 km, the NR-I Crime Branch successfully captured the accused in Surat, Gujarat.
“The complainant, an employee in Bagwan Pura, had been befriended by the accused while working together. The team promptly executed a raid, successfully detaining the accused.
